Background

​

I was born and raised in Sheridan IN, attended Franklin College, and moved to Carmel after graduating cum laude with a degree in accounting/minor in business in 1996.  

 

We moved to Westfield when our oldest son, Owen, was 6 months old primarily because of the school system.  Our youngest son, Elliott, has been the biggest beneficiary of our school system, able to keep pace with his classmates despite struggling with mental health issues and a three-year battle with leukemia.  The administration, teachers, and resource assistance at Carey Ridge provided more than just educational support to our family during his time there.  The support has continued, and we are especially grateful for his counselor and support system at the high school. Elliott is a junior at WHS and attending JEL career center. Owen is a Junior at Franklin College, studying business and playing football.  

 

 

Professional Highlights

I am a certified public accountant (CPA), a certified fraud examiner ( CFE), certified construction industry financial professional (CCIFP), and a chief financial officer (CFO) for a professional safety consulting company in Indianapolis. My professional experience allows me to bring business expertise plus sound accounting and finance best practices to board discussions and decisions. 

 

As one of the largest businesses in Westfield, it is important to have a proven financial professional serving on the board.
